if you are into emacs at all, you may have heard of Protesilaos Stavrrou, a Greek philosopher who lives in the mountains of Crete, and writes software for emacs for fun.

he was forced to move out of his rented house, and not finding anyplace to live, finally settled on building a small offgrid cabin in the mountains of Crete using recycled and reclaimed materials.

I just like the dude. There is something different about him. so honest, innocent, and... Greek. I find it refreshing.
