If public zaps and your node’s privacy is a high priority, then, probably. Depends on your nostr profile too (if you’re an anon va public figure vs real name pleb)

I wouldn’t consider most activity on Nostr to be particularly privacy-focused, but like most things, it depends on your priorities and threat model

Zaps are more private than buying a blue check, that’s for sure, but it’s probably not that hard to dox your node or IP address or something if you’re not cautious
