This encounter Jacob had with YHWH is so strange; one that ended with being wounded. Jacob asked what his name was to no answer.

“Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, for you have striven with God [Elohim] and with men, and have prevailed.” 🤔

Also in John 1:18 says "No one has ever seen God", which would make the encounter with Jacob and YHWH even more intriguing.

Did Jacob not wrestle with YHWH for a whole night and was physically wounded by this encounter?
