Welcome! Keep in mind nostr it isn't just a social media platform like TikTok but a protocol that can house every social media app and much, much more.

The beauty of nostr is that you control damn near everything about your experience. From your algo (based on the people, hashtags, etc. that you follow) to your private key that you can take to any application built on the protocol. There have already been a litany of apps built to mimic many of the well-known platforms and more are currently in development.
