You're paying for the service of someone purifying and delivering water to you. Should they perform this service for free?
If you want to dig a well or drink river-water or collect rainwater, go for it
(Yes, government agents have harassed some people for collecting rainwater but I believe that's the exception rather than the rule)
Everything moves towards a subscription based model....that's the agenda to keep us in place and managed
If you want some other human being to provide any sort of ongoing service, you are going to have to pay that human being some sort of ongoing tribute.
That is not politics or economics, that is thermodynamics.
Even slaves require bread.
