Personally, I can't imagine spending 8$ on macha.
But I do understand as the rent for food vendor is pretty high.

I’m glad people like yourself are proactive and entrepreneurial enough to pay the upfront vendor cost. NYC needs more events like that imo, helps build community
This is my first time to pay for the rent.
I do think that the shrinking middle class is affecting the businesses. Plp don't want to spend money except foods. Plus the rich rich wouldn't come to this type of things.

The rich rich tend to be a bit more secluded, yeah, but they do also love farmers markets lol, and this is pretty similar. Seattle has a famous market of this sort too, but indoor.
