The ultimate purpose of AI is to create a direct link between thought and reality. i.e. you imagine a picture in your head and by way of an AI interface, the image immediately appears on a screen. AI doesn’t need to be it’s own entity, so to speak. It just needs to act as a translator between the physical world and that which is known but not understood (our thoughts)

I think centralized ai is about control. To usurp thought and free will. Ultimately, i believe the architects want to overlap the digital world and physical world. If we look at technocracy, a more appropriate acronym may be autonomic intelligence. Social credit too low, camera at grocery store wont let you in. No human to complain to. Down the line it could be humans with chips in the brain can see and interact with digital lifeforms as if they were physical
