There are far more Faketoshi frauds out there than you might imagine. You just don't hear about them because they are so obviously unhinged that their rants get completely ignored.

Pretty sure this is the manifestation of a specific type of mental illness.

it's a part of sociopathy. the person has an image they want the world to believe in, and they use every form of deception they can to get the desired confirmation feedback from other people.
