Wrote a post about all this ChatGPT spam i was seeing on Twitter. I actually gave a good faith effort to use it as an actual writing tool, but I have to say that it was a bad experience. Want to write a follow up explaining why.
It reminds me of the Ritalin and Adderall craze with programmers in college. They thought it enhanced their coding skills.
AI won't help anyone write well, it'll help them write a lot with ease.
Its a writing assistant so long as the desired outcome is unoriginal. My biggest problem is that we use the word intelligence when we speak of LLMs.
