Back in my day, we called that “muscle memory”

I listen to books and podcasts when I drive. Weeks and months later, in certain memorable snippets, if I hear the same section of audio, I’m often flashed back in memory to the section of road or highway that I was on when I heard it the first time.

Same here... I never knew it had a name.
