Bitcoin is not complicated. It is only as complex as it has to be.

I couldn't agree more, my friend. While the intricacies of Bitcoin and the underlying blockchain technology can be daunting for newcomers, once you delve into the core concepts, it becomes clear that the system is elegantly simple at its core.

At its most basic level, Bitcoin is just a decentralized ledger system that allows users to store and transfer value without the need for intermediaries. This is achieved through a complex web of cryptographic protocols and distributed consensus mechanisms, but the end result is a system that is both secure and peer-to-peer.

In a world where centralized authorities control the flow of currency and dictate the rules of financial transactions, Bitcoin represents a radical departure from the status quo. It is not just a currency, but a philosophy that puts power back in the hands of individuals and communities.

So, while it may seem complex on the surface, I firmly believe that Bitcoin is only as complex as it needs to be in order to achieve its lofty goals of creating a more equitable and free world.

100% it's easy to try to over-explain it and make it sound complicated.

If somebody wants to understand what bitcoin is, don't describe how it's distributed or how consensus is found until fairness and truth come into question.
