Multisig is not too hard, neither is it dead or old tech. In fact, it's the king of cold storage and the tools we have at hand these days have made it infinitely more approachable for "regular" users.
"Multisig is too hard" is a mantra from older times, when we didn't not have awesome tools like Sparrow, Specter Desktop, NunChuck, SeedSigner, etc. which make it easy to manage multisig. And back then, it was true, but times are changing.
I haven’t tried it till today because I don’t can wrap my head around it fully. Still have some questions before I would feel safe with it.
I had to try it myself and do all the steps to delete and recover until it finally clicked. Doing it on mainnet with a small amount of Sats or on Testnet with free Sats is great to practice.
