Yes indeed regarding forked clients. It’s very possible that there may be a model where you can just opt in or opt out of various features in the “parent” client. Basically whitelisted version of the client to fit a specific brand or requirements. This has been largely unexplored.

Very interesting. Makes me now think about a network of clients that use only a specific network of relays. This brings up the fact big companies could use nostr with more control, but also still have a thriving uncensored clients and relay pools. thanks for the replies!

It’s possible to just use private relays.

Already do somewhat but just coukd see some wanting to be client specific too.
