The food thing with Git is that you can only destroy your own work.

It's a pointer-based file system instead of a folder-based. Commit hashes etc are the pointers

I love git. It was/is an important piece of tool in my tool stack :)

As with many things development related, it will take only hours to learn, and a lifetime to master.

Took some time to learn how to use it for my websites a couple months ago. Worth it!
