LOL I've been followed by an additional 30 or so bots since this so would have to go through all my follows. Anyway it was just supposed to be a subtle dig, not a real accusation
is it a real npub or not?
Yeah, it's been around a few months but with only 1 repost and no notes of its own. It's definitely separate to the other recent ones which show no relays in primal but show some historical relays in nostr.band.
there was an attack on twitter by mass following with fake accounts to get the followed account suspended, only guess is there might be algos like that on relays? or apps?
I think the thing the fake followers achieve is makes follower account less relevant for determining things like trending. It's also possible that you could get marked as spam if you're following enough accounts that are also marked as spam depending on how a client or relay chooses to determine such things. I don't believe anything like that has been implemented though.
