Testing a zap I made yesterday supporting nostr:npub1f4www6qjx43mckpkjld4apyyr76j3aahprvkduh9gc5xec78ypmsmakqh9 and moving nostr:npub1hedhcq93v5c226w8gfece5lxkf6zldvrgygw9ppmyq3msggvl6rst8kmxw to nostr first.

How does this look nostr:npub1unmftuzmkpdjxyj4en8r63cm34uuvjn9hnxqz3nz6fls7l5jzzfqtvd0j2 ?

I’m just getting a loading indicator, not seeing the zap itself. Although I was able to see the zap you sent nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s in your original note on this topic.

i think you need to mention the zap receipt instead of the zap request. let's see if this works.

That worked. How do I get the zap receipt in my client? I just copied the note id in Damus and I guess that gave me the zap request.

Now it’s loading correctly in my original post. Hrm 🤨

Sorta. It’s showing the message but not that it was a zap nor the zap amount.

Maybe Damus saved the zap request event that's embedded in the zap receipt in nostrdb. I don't see a use case for mentioning zap requests though. A lot of zap requests are never completed. Also, I don't think relays keep the zap request events for very long.

I don't know of a way to get the zap receipt from a client. I queried the nostr.band relay directly to get your zap receipt event ID.

I see zap message card on Damus but just the text reference and on Primal. On Damus it just looks like a quotes reply though - I think in order to render zap specific ui it would need to reference using nevent1 rather than note1 so that it includes the kind.
