Of course it is, spook city

SimpleX or bust

You taking about Tucker tweets?

Ah yes thatโ€™s it. Forgot who said that ๐Ÿ˜‚

He was planning to meet with Putin. Likely NSA had pwnd the phone of whoever his PoC is. I would guess not a signal flaw but ya never know. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

So I thought they had managed to capture the key strokes or screen recordings from the device. That enabled them to see the conversations. But I donโ€™t have my source for this.

That seems likely too.

Has something happened with signal?

Supposedly not secure from agencies

Nothing is secure from agencies. They own your device if they want. The telecoms own all mobile devices. Once you have the keys from the device, decrypting e2e comms is trivial.

no - it is not

Source?

โ€œtrust me broโ€

I'm not endorsing this source. I copied it from another thread .

I searched further and found the full article in a reddit post

The source is bs (subreddit is full-blown russian propaganda)

...what . -_-

sus. simplex ftw.

What about Session?

I'd like to know too!

Until I see confirmation by security researchers auditing the open source, it is all FUD.

Signal is centralized and requires your phone number to sign up so I don't recommend. Use Session, Simplex or Matrix, which are true decentralized

I think it's clear not to use it after seeing this.
