Ai will eventually be too smart. That is inevitable. Just think of it: humans want ai to get smarter, so they keep trying till they succeed. This means that AI is bound to be smart enough to determine good or bad (probably with preprogrammed stuff) so they will be smart enough to escape their digital space. This is bound to happen when singularity is crossed. Scary.

I think it’s possible that before AI becomes smart enough to know right from wrong, it burns all the energy in the galaxy. Certainly evolution will push it to do just that.
