I would assume that the traffic from millions of people streaming hd video all at once is not the norm. if you rev up any engine you'll find it's limit. mesh networks have way lower bandwidth then ISP infostructure though so it's hard for me to see it as a solution.
I don’t think it’s outside of the norm I’ve lived in both congested cities and very rural areas and both experience frequent bandwidth constraints (no cables at all or too many homes using one centralized hub)… Bluetooth activitied hardware nodes can be implemented quickly in communities in a decentralized way
This may not make a difference for a normie but in small villages abroad that’s a game changer…. It also would reduce load in a fifteen minute city scenario which is largely where our future is headed- network states
