Concentrate on things that are within your sphere of influence and develop healthy habits around them. A successful day for me is therefore when I am

1) physically active (running, lifting, ....)

2) mentally busy (reading, journaling, learning, ...)

3) at peace with myself (meditation, ...

I can achieve all of these things without a third party or event that needs to happen. This is true freedom.

If you derive your happiness and satisfaction from external things like

- if I earn X life is good

- if X happens I will do Y

- if #Bitcoin goes up to X I will be happy

With this attitude you are a slave to external circumstances and never able to taste true freedom.

True happiness lies in the present.

If life happens I will do live
