I love the motto - ‘E Pluribus Unum’ - applies to the internet and bitcoin. Those cats of the day really had vision.

The many and varied parts working together as a whole, without diminishing the parts. It’s the essence of being permissionless but within a structure, which the internet achieves to a large degree (not completely) and so does bitcoin and nostr.
