I know zero people who use #nostr in real life
And if I didn't tell my family or friends about it - I would know no one who knows about it

Regularly find the same thing.
Nobody cares enough about what it means to want to deal with the learning curve.
I've given up on convincing people. If they show interest in the beginning I'll entertain, but if they give up on it I don't pressure the issue.
It's like an exclusive club currently, only a few know it exists.
