I thought his MIT education was paid for with tax payer dollars, why is he charging for the thesis? 🤔

His receiving an education from my tax dollars is half the equation, the value it generates is the full equation. A PhD isn’t kickstarter; we aren’t investing our tax dollars in students to reap a free reward from every idea that springs out of their mind. IP is still protected in this country.
