Scam is, they try impersonate someone you has already forgot about, a friend from childhood, a colleague from a job, or a friend of a friend. The moment you respond, the moment some other accomplices start observing and planning... not only the wear is valuable, but also the information they might get to acquire from the conversation. Surprise for me was finding the scam at downtown's streets face to face; so it's more usual to stumble onto those online or by calls.

Plus, I don't look that old yet to be forgetting faces! 🧐
