Yes, they did good things for workers in the time of horse and carriage and trains. We have planes and satellites now. Workers of today have ability to individually or in non-bureaucratically-organized way demand what they personally need and avoid cookie cutter one solution for all collectivism. Trivial example - under CV19 Corporate pressure we had non-Union driven general strike equivalent across industries. No Union needed
