Framed #588 (nah. I watched an Israeli film, via BBC 4's streaming service, called "'Til Kingdom Come: Trump, Faith and Money" which was very scary. I don't particularly dislike Trump. I categorically wouldn't vote for him but I don't particularly dislike him. It's not my election and I think people from other countries moaning about political candidates is mostly just reinforcing sides. People will listen to whoever they like. The people who believe in Armageddon, and would like to precipitate it, because it starts in Israel are, for want of a better phrase, well intentioned but couldn't be more honest about their beliefs and where it all ends. It's not good. I hope, and Trump is currently the favourite to win the election on Betfair, the Armageddonists don't give it a good go next time. It's a good film, I think it is as fair as it can be, and everyone should watch it because we live on the same planet. The theology of it all is fascinating. I think Popper was right that tolerating intolerance, outside of been able to meet it with rational arguments, leads to the intolerant winning.)
