NARRATOR:

The year is 2057. You spend your days breaking down one cardboard box after another. Hundreds per day. They never stop drop shipping to your home.

You don’t know where they come from. You don’t know who is responsible for ordering them to your home. You just know they never stop coming. Yet the consistency is its own sort of comfort.

You are not at peace necessarily, but you know somewhere inside there is a small piece of you that wonders, could it have been different. But it isn’t. This is real. This is your life. And there is only one thing you can do. Cut another, and another, and another, and another…

NARRATOR:

Until one day, you come across the box. A box like any other. Inconspicuous. Plain. Like the thousands you opened before. But from the moment you lift the lid you know it is THE box.

[cut to you and a friend sitting in the living room, a box on the coffee table table]

Friend: „What is it?“

You: „I don’t know. All I know is I feel connected to it. It… speaks to me…“

[cut to sleazy looking inspector banging on your door]

Inspector: „Open up! We know you‘ve got the box!“

[cut to you grabbing the box and running towards the rear entrance. Shattering glass can be heard from the front door]
