Jesus was sent to us by the Father. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son. In obedience to the Father, the Son came to Earth, suffered, and died on the cross for our sins. Everything Jesus said and did was according to the will of his Father. It was the will of the Father to crush him, and then to raise him higher than any other, so that every knee will bow to Jesus.
