Not that they do much at all, usually, but don't you have a constitution and judges to at least force them to keep an appearance of normalcy?

Our constitution was written for us to be a slave colony, it’s not a serious document.
I’m obviously not a fan but like everywhere else in the West the version we do have gets shat on left and right. We have a third layer of government which is unconstitutional, we have no bill of rights, no enshrined free speech.
A few years back there was a big scandal because one of the politicians was found to have dual citizenship which is forbidden in our Constitution - turned out, this was there were polis in all the parties and amongst independents who were in breach of this rule so nothing came of it other than a few by-elections.
Don’t get me started on the judiciary. Just look at how Novak Djokovic was treated - a total fucking absurdity and embarrassment to the country.
The courts rubber stamp the government, and the government don’t even bother with lip service to the constitution - it might as well not exist.
