USA 🇺🇸: An 18-year-old woman in the state of Nebraska was sentenced this Thursday (20) to 90 days in prison and 2 years of probation for burning and burying a fetus she aborted.

The abortion, performed in the third trimester of pregnancy, violated Nebraska law at the time, which prohibited abortion after 20 weeks of gestation.

Current law in Nebraska prohibits abortion after 12 weeks of pregnancy.
