Can someone, who only has access to the New Testament, be saved?

No, they will also need the Holy Spirit to allow the seed, which is the Word of God found in the New Testament, to regenerate them into eternal life.
I agree, in fact that is part of his role in addition to reminding you what Jesus taught;
"the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you."

However, I was more asking can someone be saved if they only have access to the NT and NOT the OT.
I believe someone could get saved with access just to the New Testament, although so much of the Old Testament is quoted from and referenced and fulfilled in the New. It's hard to separate them.
I should correct this though; the Word of God is Jesus, not the text, as per John 1.
