Does it run in oc ?
Try to look into the readme for the new version and check if there is some new feature related with temperature, maybe now it's getting the real one, some change in fan speed or controller. If it's spring in your timezone, maybe it's time to under-clock to take care of the hardware in the long run.
The checkbox for "Invert Fan Polarität" was not marked after the upgrade. After downgrade the Fan is now running again.
