They are focused on using Taproot to bring stablecoins and other assets to lightning rather than things that are imo much more important like Bolt12

Is there something about stablecoins on lightning that are somehow not compatible with bolt12? We can’t have both? Genuinely asking

My pleb understanding is that you can have both. It’s just a matter of time, focus, and resources. Taproot assets is just an enormous amount of work and lightning devs don’t grow on trees.
