I'd say it has free speech; but after the shadowbanning of Ralf on Primal's trending, I think people were reminded that whilst Nostr itself is a protocol, the clients they use and that implement it, also act as a transfer of trust. Trust, that what they say, is what others get to see, if at all.

That it didn't kill twitter makes me sad, unironically. Looking at #Nostr on Twitter is a little shocking sometimes. It's still fairly new, but if users keep tweeting and fueling the Musk maschine, I wonder how Nostr will grow further. I do want it to grow though.

As for bitcoin... 100% agreed. Can't even make a witty remark. The coinage is ultra strong here. Not that I mind it too much, but it can get overwhelming fast. Diversity in this vertical is missing. But I guess it'll take more users with more varying interests to "take" some of the Bitcoin share and use it for something else.

Wouldn't say it has become everything, but recent events have shown that bad behaviour ain't just done by big corps. Transfer of trust always bears the risk of the trust being broken.

Thanks for your insights tho. Appreciate it. ^.^
