UNFORTUNATELY I HAD TO RESPONSIBLY KILL MY LONGEST RUNNING LIGHTNING NODE OVER THE LAST TWO WEEKS.

TRIED TO DO IT AT THE LOWEST POSSIBLE FEE RATES FOR THE SAKE OF MY CHANNEL PARTNERS.

STILL RUNNING FOUR OTHER NODES. ONWARD. 🫡

I did the same. Unfortunately with the current state of things it is not manageable, not profitable, not stable to run a lightning node at home. This is the reality 🥹

Did you know you can host a node on Oracle Cloud for free? I've had a node running there for over a year with zero hosting cost.

According to mempool.space there are 18 other nodes running there too.
