I'm hoping #0xchat implements some better privacy and I can just use that. I think SimpleX's lack of identity will always give it an edge, but nostr could get close. There's a NIP still in progress targeting number 104 for MLS over nostr, and I think that should resolve a lot of the privacy issues if I understand it properly. And if 0xchat adopts it when it's done, of course.
