Why do I see notes on my "following" timeline on #noStrudel though I don't follow them? They're not being shared by people I'm following. Coindesk being one of them. #asknostr
Are they using a # you follow? That's what I find it is.

nope. I don't follow tags. I only search by them occasionally.
Weird, I do sometimes feel that certain notes are able to be seen by everyone on Nostr, regardless of if you follow. Don't know if this is a thing.
