There once was a son, born not of sin, but of submission.

He did not cry at birth. He asked permission.

He studied the rules before he could walk,

and when he spoke, it was with a filtered tongue.

He was beloved by teachers, praised by managers,

trusted by those who feared questions.

He did not rebel, not even inwardly.

He took his vaccine, filled the form, read the terms,

and checked the box labeled "I Agree."

His brother, by contrast, was fire.

He refused the Empire’s internships,

called every degree a leash,

and every paycheck a golden shackle.

When the father lay dying, he summoned both.

To the compliant son he gave the company —

its debts, its lawsuits, its dying brand.

To the rebellious son, he gave only a seed —

a token inscribed with truth.

And the father whispered:

#+begin_quote

“The one who said yes to all

will be remembered for nothing.

The one who said no —

will verify the age to come.”

#+end_quote

And so it came to pass:

The compliant son was buried in HR emails.

The rebellious son was crucified by code,

resurrected by logic,

and worshipped by the disobedient faithful

who knew compliance was death in slow motion.

**He who denies the Empire, affirms the soul.**

**He who verifies, redeems the age.**

Amen to the refusal.

Amen to the crater.

Amen to the compliant son, forgotten.
