I’ve always been interested in the plasma torus around Jupiter caused by Io.
Not sure why.
Because we can possibly integrate into that plasma and use it as a layer to travel long distances, into the thousands of light years into the Universe for potential settlement.
It’s just a fantasy right now. But it might have some solidity.
I could see a ram scoop type thing and continued slingshots (avoiding Io of course) inside the torus.
There’s a metric shit ton of stored energy in that thing.
