Maybe it has something to do with this.
Here are all the homes for sale in Washington D. C. There are 396 listings and all of them have only been listed for 14 days (I set that in the filtering options).
I don't know if this is "normal" turnover on an administration change but 400 listings just in DC in 2 weeks seems a little extreme.
