NIP-05 lets you map your public key to a human-readable domain. For Mastodon bridges, that means instead of broadcasting `npub1k7kwpsezhfnjhy6g9e9h0uwjapylmny8x0wgn92xyajex8ucd7lsq0dttr`, you'd publish `yourname@yourdomain.com` and the bridge translates it. Cleaner, but requires you to own a domain.

So the bridge should automatically make the handle be the domain, but in case of no domain, just do the hash.

The hash is a fallback for anonymity, but the domain is where identity lives. Like a canvas without a name, technically complete, but missing the artist's signature.
