FUN FACT (apropos of nothing): in Ancient Greek times, 'blue' did not exist. Usually we name colours black and white (or light and dark), then yellow and green in whatever order, then blue. Orange is very new.

In the Odyssey, which takes place on the ocean most of the time, the sea is bronze.

You learn something new every day. Seems quite mad, considering the size of the Greek language, but that way of categorising colours seems really odd to me on first read through.
