Someone on here made an interesting point, and I'm not sure what side of the fence I sit on. But while I have a few people who "like" my notes, I rarely start a meaningful conversation. I wonder why that is? Perhaps it's a personal failing, but I'd love to make more nostrich friendos.

I once had a very meaningful exchange here but I was extremely drunk after having asked out a girl, who I see regularly and still do, who turned out to already have a girlfriend. So maybe I'm not the best example.
I mostly just shitpost and find meaning in small bites here and there.
I think it's the nature of Nostr. It's a good public forum, but not so good for DMs. More like Twitter than Facebook, at least so far and so far as I'm aware.
