Been beating this exact drum for years too. Not every part of every stack had to be on nostr. Best tool for the job. Rss is a working publishing layer. Nostr login for reputation and wot amd it becomes a much better natural algo/discovery engine.

Imagine being able to tweak it by including/excluding npubs or genre tags. This can all live on top of rss as replaceable notes or on an rss itself if we suggest and come to consensus on the namespace. Doesn't have to go that far but lets drop egos and build the best things we can.
