I don't know if you're from an emerging country, but even though the dollar has its issues, we still prefer using it over the local currency. That's why USDT has greater adoption, but this is only temporary until Bitcoin evolves. Liquid is the solution for this, and since we already have USDT on Liquid, that network will eventually absorb the entire market.

Yes, that was the biggest thing I was wondering, why USDT on Polygon. Best thing would still be to store in BTC, since USD is also losing its value, just in a slower way.

But I guess for stability and adoption, USDT is the easy choice. I often disregard Liquid, but this could be a great "in-between" solution. Where they have there USDT rails on liquid and then can easily store part of that wordt directly into BTC. 🙏🏼
