Yup, we live in a society where it seems like the goal for everyone is to become encased in a perfect temperature foam ball with earbuds, vr googles and a fleshlight built in. Your home should be cozy, but not so comfortable you never go outside.

I do things to deliberately make myself and my family uncomfortable in some ways. My wife understands it, she isn't driven to it and tries to "improve" things sometimes but she gets my philosophy on that. Things like AC not on when it's mildly hot or cold. A perfectly comfortable home is a coffin.
