Just checked your link, now I understand. Yes, it's still not legal to buy/sell #Bitcoin in #China but at least people can get an information on it's price.

I believe there's also some movement in Hong Kong but that's probably just business related, not for common people.

It is easy to obtain bitcoin information in China. Hong Kong is an open experimental area in China, and the "Hong Kong web3 Blockchain Carnival" is now being held. The Nostr conference in November will also be held in Tokyo and Hong Kong at the same time, which will definitely affect mainland China. This is a positive signal.

Thanks. How easy or difficult is to obtain actual #Bitcoin in #China?

You need a VPN to buy bitcoins on websites outside of mainland China. In 2017, China announced that it was illegal to trade bitcoins, and mining was also withdrawn from China later. But before that, China should be the most active country for Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

China definitely was the most active country before 2015 for sure. That's why I believe there's still much of #Bitcoin within #China.

There is no doubt that you are right
