Let this be a lesson.

You knew about bitcoin, and still picked to use PayPal for accepting donations.

You knew that wasn't your money showing in the account they lent you... then low and behold, youbtry to make it yours by adding a bank account...and they slap you on the wrist and tell you it's theirs...

I can't feel bad unfortunately as I'd expect better from such a company in this space.
