Trump just likely fscked the Liberal Party of Canada by endorsing them. Either stupidly or or purpose. I suspect the latter. The Americans are well aware of Canadian politics.

Hineatly, I'd rather him make a concession with Russia and yank them away from China than have Russia and China grow closer. It's a weird partnership though - CCP and Russia have never been friends. Biden and the EU pushed them together.

Kinda agree… and in the meantime, pressuring Canada with tariffs will force them to choose between China and the US. The likely outcome is the US.

the last time he negotiated with Canada it was with the Liberals. They walked in, expected the same as usual, he told them no, we have a deal with Mexico and undid a bunch of trade concessions we had for years.

he does want the Liberals in that sense because he can walk over them easily.
