One of my favorite Bob Dylan moments is from the documentary Don’t Look Back. He’s on tour in London in 1965, the thick of when the media and establishment assume he’s this radical anarchist protesting against the government and horrific injustice etc etc and a British report whispers to him slightly off camera and says “do you ever read the Bible?”

He laughs and whispers “what about the Bible?”. She repeats her question and he says “um, no. Well I’ve glanced through it”

Fucking goat lol. And a reminder the mainstream media will always be horrible, lagging behind culture and truth, and will always cast dissenters as the anti-christ

Interestingly enough he would do more than glance during his born-again era.

trey have you read the bible ?

Lol. Yes I have actually

Have you seen the new Dylan movie?

No yet man can’t wait to though!

Saw it on xmas with my dad. Thought it would be terrible for some reason, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. TC did an incredible job singing. Walked out with a renewed appreciation for early Bob ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Love it. Took me too long to appreciate Bob, had a friend in college who was obsessed. Seeing interviews with TC about it made me also think the film should be really good.

Dude went all in.
